Just a short note to let you know that I arrived home safely today at 2:30 PM after a long blast at high speed in high winds across the desert and over Cajon Pass on I-15. It is great to be home. I will send a final wrap-up e-Mail on this adventure in a couple of days after I have had a chance to compile some statistics and assemble my thoughts into some kind of a summary. My primary thought right now is that I planned this trip for 2 years, and it turned out to be everything I wanted it to be, and more. This was the riding experience of a lifetime, and as evidence of that fact, I have no plans for future trips at this time. (But that will change). Many thanks to Bill Englander for setting up a page on his website to contain these reports at: http://www.englander.com/ironbuttrick/ (Note: site no longer available)I'll talk to you in a couple of days.
